Faith and HIV Sub-Committee

Purpose: To bring HIV awareness and education which reduces HIV-related stigma in faith-based communities.

Objectives:

• Compassion over judgement
• Healing over harming
• Solitary over division
• Love over hate
• Understanding over conviction
• Restoring trust in the faith-based community for those living with HIV

The faith and HIV sub-committee provides HIV prevention and education to faith-based communities. This includes information on how HIV is spread, treatments available for treatment and prevention of HIV and other resources available.
